Event: The Perfect Race

Location: Medbourne Sports Pavilion, Milton Keynes

Clean Coach Katie, The Treatment Lab and Apple a Day Nutrition are excited to be hosting ‘The Perfect Race’ workshop on Friday 23rd February.

The workshop will comprise of 3 x 30 minute sessions with all three experts to cover how to prepare best for race day. Groups will be small so that you can get the most from each mini workshop on the evening. There will be a Q&A session at the end to ask the panel any burning questions you may have.

Performing to your best means finding out how you perform at your best.  Finding out what works for you as an individual – if you are in the best health then you will more likely perform at your best.

Sam, who has run 5 marathons and countless half marathons, will talk about a range of things to help you plan and execute preparations so you have a perfect event.

How to avoid cramp and other symptoms of physical stress

Being mentally prepared for a race, ensures you are in the peak physiological zone to get the most from race day.

Katie, who has ran the London Marathon twice and competed in a variety of races from 5Ks to half marathons, including local cross country will go through a number of ways to help you reach peak before your race.

Event: Endurance Running Workshop
Date: Sunday 19th November 2017
Time: 6.30pm – 8pm
Location: Medbourne Sports Pavilion, Milton Keynes

An endurance running workshop for anyone who wants to run a half or full marathon in Spring 2018 and would like advice on:

Rest & Recovery
Injury Prevention 
Strength & Core 

The evening will offer the opportunity for anyone who is taking on their first endurance event or for those wanting additional advice on how to progress their performance over distance.

There will be special guests and brands also in attendance to offer you the best advice, guidance and support to ensure you reach that start line on race day as ready as possible.
