I’ve always had a strong passion for sports, fitness and nutrition.
Netball was the sport I played throughout school and university whilst studying Sports Science at Brunel. Since then, l I have pursued a career in events & projects, but always been keen to maintain a healthy lifestyle in my own personal time.
I was never a keen runner when I was younger, but my journey began back in 2012 once I had moved back home. I wanted a new hobby to keep me busy and decided to enter the Run to the Beat half marathon. I bought a new pair trainers and that was it, I officially had the running bug…
Since then I’ve gone on to complete many 10k’s, half marathons and even had the opportunity to run the London Marathon back in 2014.
I’ve recently returned to running again after dealing with an injury. This blog is to document me along my next challenge and hopefully give you a little insight into me, my life and the highs and lows I experience during this process.
